Abstract

Coronary heart disease is still one of the leading causes of death in Indonesia. Prolongation of the QT interval from the ECG is associated with patient output after myocardial infarction. Syntax scores can be used in assessing the severity of coronary arteries. But no one has looked for corrected QT correlations with Syntax scores. Using 35 patients who experienced acute myocardial infarction with ST segment elevation (STEMI) which performed primary coronary intervention, calculated the QT corrected and assessed the Syntax score then correlated. Obtained a moderate correlation between QT corrected with Syntax scores (r = 0.549 p-value <0.001). QT was corrected and Syntax scores had a moderate correlation in STEMI patients who performed primary percutaneous measures at Pertamina Central Hospital.
