Abstract

In atmospheric particulates, PM2.5 (particulate matter ≤2.5 μm in aerodynamic diameter) is the main pollutants of haze, and has a closely relationship with respiratory system diseases. This paper analyzed the composition and source of PM2.5 and fog haze,summarized the effects of PM2.5 on the upper and lower respiratory tract diseases, and discussed the mechanism of PM2.5 on respiratory diseases. They are helpful to the protection of PM2.5 and the prevention and treatment of respiratory tract inflammation diseases. Key words: Respiratory System; inflammation; PM2.5; foghaze
