Abstract

Background and Aims: Presence of tendon xanthomas (TX) is a pathognomonic sign of familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) and reportedly linked to accelerated development of atherosclerosis. We aimed to investigate association of TX with coronary (CA) and brachiocephalic (BA) atherosclerosis separately and in context of conventional cardiovascular risk factors.
