Abstract

Objective To explore the influence of psychological resilience on clinical practice behavior so as to find out effective methods to improve clinical practice ability of nursing students. Methods A total of 90 Tibetan 9+ 3 nursing students (TNS) were investigated with resilience scale and clinical evaluation tool (CET). Pearson correlation analysis was used to evaluate the correlation between psychological resilience and clinical practice behavior. Results The total score of psychological resilience and clinical practice behavior were (99.244±16.222) and (3.490±0.548). The score of clinical practice behavior was positively related to the score of psychological resilience (r=0.479, P<0.01). Conclusions Psychological resilience of Tibetan nursing students is better than that of college nursing students. Their clinical practice behavior is generally good, but cognitive domain is weak. The stronger the psychological resilience of TNS, the better their clinical practice behavior.
