Abstract
The aims of this research were to study: 1) correlation between creative thinking skill with vocational maturity; 2) correlation between competency achievement with vocational maturity; and 3) correlation between creative thinking skill and competency achievement with vocational maturity simultaneously. In this research, creative thinking skill (X1) and competency achievement (X2) were independent variables and dependent variable was vocational maturity (Y). The population of this research was entire of vocational high school students grade XI Computer and Network Engineering. The total number of population was 337 students. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling, so the total number of sample was 182 students. This research used quantitative approach and the kind of research was descriptive correlational. The analysis data used descriptive analysis, classic assumption test, and hypothesis test were consist of correlation product moment and multiple regression. Correlation product moment was used to determine relationship between dependent variable with each independent variable partially, whereas multiple regression was used to determine correlation between independent variables with dependent variables simultaneously. The results showed that there was a positive and significant correlation between creative thinking skill with vocational maturity. It was observed from the magnitude of Coefficient Correlation (R) = 0.606. And then, there was a positive and significant correlation between competency achievement with vocational maturity. It was observed from the magnitude of Coefficient Correlation (R) = 0.733. There was positive and significant correlation simultaneously between creative thinking skill and competency achievement with vocational maturity. It was observed from the magnitude of R = 0.769 and R square = 0.591. Based on the result of this research could be concluded that ha (hypothesis alternative) was accepted and ho (hypothesis 0) was rejected.
