Abstract
The Journal of Theological Studies, 2021, ns, 72, pp. 479–82, https://doi.org/10.1093/jts/flab056 In the version of this review originally published, there was an error in the reporting of the figures given in The Theology and Ecclesiology of the Prayer Book Crisis, 1906–1928, by Dan D. Cruickshank, for the initial and final votes in favour of the revised prayer book in the Church Assembly in February and April 1928. The figure of 80% belongs to the February vote, not to the April vote as the author of the review mistakenly understood. Cruickshank’s figures for the April vote are thus in line with those of Jasper and Cuming. A detailed breakdown of the votes is found in the endnotes (notes 192 and 207 on pp. 113 and 114).
