Abstract
Correction of amino acid sequence of phospholipase A 2 I from the venom of Laticauda semifasciata (erabu sea snake). Toxicon 26, 747 – 749, 1988. — The amino acid sequence of phospholipase A 2 I from the venom of the sea snake Laticauda semifasciata was reinvestigated. The previously reported sequence at positions 70 – 80 was corrected to Asp - Cys - Ser - Thr - Glu - Glu - Pro - Asn - Cys - Ser - Thr. The positions of half-cystine residues in the corrected sequence agree with most other phospholipases A 2.
