This article describes in detail the Corporate Planning System at Fyffes Group Limited. The system has the major attributes referred to in planning theory—strategic plans, operating plans, project plans, contingency plans, etc. It has the advantages of simplicity and might well provide a basis for a company introducing planning for the first time.
