Abstract
A low coronary lumen to myocardial mass (V/M) ratio is associated with a lower fractional flow reserve (FFR) and predisposes towards ischaemia in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). Patients with severe aortic stenosis (AS) have high rates of CAD, but little is known about the effect of AS on the V/M ratio. Therefore, we seek to investigate if the V/M ratio is lower in severe AS, and its relationship with FFR.
