Abstract

Introduction: Spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) is an increasingly recognized cause of coronary obstruction but the diagnosis remains difficult. Given that the optimal management of SCAD may differ from treatment of obstructive coronary atherosclerosis, further improvement in non-invasive diagnosis is necessary. We therefore investigated the diagnostic yield of coronary computed tomographic angiography (CTA) in patients with clinical suspicion of SCAD.
