Abstract

Observations of vital capacity and cardiac hemodynamics were made on 21 patients with cystic fibrosis. The data suggest that severity of disease, vital capacity, and response of Pa O 2 to breathing 100 per cent oxygen may provide useful information in the recognition of cor pulmonale.
