Abstract
Some of the mechanisms for the migrational copolymerizations of aryl cyanates with aromatic carboxylic acid anhydrides, yielding a new type of polymer, i.e. polymidocarbamates, have been examined. A number of compounds modelling the main chain of these polyimidocarbamates have been synthesized. The effect of the structure of the components on the physical properties of the produced polymers was examined.
