Abstract

A novel method is proposed for obtaining a minimum break point set for computer-aided coordination of directional relays in a power system. This very simple technique uses only fundamental circuits of the system graph for determining a minimum set of such break points. The procedure is very fast as it does not require generation of all circuits. >
