Abstract

In order to solve the Negative Sequence (NS) and Regenerative Braking Energy (RBE) utilization problems in Traction Power Supply System (TPSS), based on the co-phase power supply system, a power flow transfer device containing a hybrid energy storage system and its coordinated control strategy are proposed. Firstly, analyze the topology and working mode of the power flow transfer device with integrated hybrid energy storage. Then, two control schemes are proposed, the equivalent circuits under the two control schemes are established, the influence of the two control schemes on the system performance under different working patterns is analyzed, and a coordination control strategy is proposed. Finally, the feasibility of the system topology and the effectiveness of the coordination control strategy are proved by simulation.
