Abstract

The energy router is the core equipment of the energy Internet, which undertakes the power conversion and new energy access in the energy system. Therefore, an energy and information integration energy router structure is designed. The core of its power conversion is the solid-state transformer (SST), which can be connected to a variety of distributed devices, including photovoltaic (PV) system, energy storage unit, wind unit, etc. A control strategy of SST and energy storage unit coordinated operation based on dc bus voltage is presented in this paper, in order to realize the system operation of multiple distributed devices in the energy router. The operation mode and energy equation of the energy router is analyzed and the control strategy of multiple subunits in the energy router is studied in detail to ensure the stable operation of each sub-unit and the smooth switching among different modes. Finally, the simulation example of the energy router is carried out on the MATLAB platform, and the simulation results verify the effectiveness and reliability of the proposed coordinated operation strategy.
