The article portrays the journey of the Agricultural Cooperative Mixta São Roque Ltda, known as Cooperoque, and underscores its pivotal role in sustainable agriculture development. Cooperoque operates across various sectors, including supermarkets, livestock, wheat mills, grain and dairy trading, while prioritizing its members by providing technical assistance to enhance agricultural activities. The article highlights the story of Elmar Stracke, a cornerstone of the cooperative, who started as a clerk and stood out through his hard work and dedication, evolving into a perceptive purchaser and effective billing executor. Cooperoque plays a crucial role in supporting the local community, driving rural development and well-being among its associates. The cooperative has confronted economic and climatic challenges over the years, maintaining its resilience and commitment to its members. Moreover, Cooperoque contributes to sustainable agriculture by advocating responsible farming practices and knowledge-sharing among members.
