Abstract
The velocity distributions P(v) of pulsed molecular beams are conventionally measured via TOF techniques. To account for the finite pulse widths of beam valves, a convoluted TOF distribution function P(t) is derived. TOF data on Ar pulsed beams are analyzed accordingly.
