Abstract

Education in Colombia is generating actions so that the municipal educational institutions promote a training in civic competences that allows strengthening school coexistence; Given this, the present investigation aimed to analyze school coexistence as an approach from research as a pedagogical strategy (IEP) oriented with a qualitative approach, with an approach based on research as a pedagogical strategy; The analysis unit consisted of 20 students between the ages of 7 and 13 years of the second and fourth grades of the Urban Mixed School Hugo Acero, of the Municipality of Plato, Magdalena. As a result, recreational spaces for healthy school coexistence were implemented from the area of ​​ethics and values, oriented from the results of students' research on the problem of coexistence, achieved through the incorporation of Research as a pedagogical strategy into the curriculum.
