Abstract

The effects on the current-mode transfer functions of a linear network consisting of a subnetwork N connected to a positive second generation current conveyor (CCII+) are determined when the CCII+ is replaced by a current feedback op-amp (CFOA) and a feedback component is added between the output of the CFOA and an independent node of N. Two examples are provided to illustrate the utility of the results. A new theorem is then presented and proved which generalizes the results. This theorem should be useful for the comparison, synthesis, and improvement of linear current-mode circuits.
