Abstract

(Abstracted from Anesth Analg, 121:1089–1096, 2015) Success rates of spinal anesthesia may be improved with preprocedural neuraxial ultrasound techniques. Previous studies have shown this technique to improve first-pass rates in patients with difficult surface anatomic landmarks; however, the evidence is limited.
