Abstract

With the development of electric vehicles, large scale of plug-in electric vehicles integration will pose inevitable impacts on the planning and operation of power system in the future. It is necessary to properly coordinate electric vehicle charging and discharging time. According to electric vehicle battery state and current power grid operation conditions to control the battery charge and discharge mode, send the temporary surplus power back to the network. So, the plug-in has a strong energy support to maintain the stability of the power grid during peak hours. In this paper, a control method of electric vehicle to grid (V2G) based on fuzzy logic is proposed. This method is designed to meet the demand of power consumption in the peak period, reduce the voltage drop and improve the power quality. Establishing a typical power transmission model of vehicle to grid, and simulating the fuzzy logic control algorithm. Simulation results show the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed algorithm.
