Abstract
A mixture of two cobalt molybdenum nitrides: Co3Mo3N and Co2Mo3N has been prepared by ammonolysis of a precursor: cobalt molybdenum oxide hydrate, CoMoO4·3/4H2O. Impregnation of the precursor by chromium nitrate influences the final phase composition of the nitrides. The higher the concentration of chromium in the material the lower concentration of Co2Mo3N phase is observed. Within the chromium concentration between 0.5 and 2wt.% this dependence has a linear character. The simple relation between phase composition and the chromium concentration makes possible the control over the concentration of the nitrides.
