Abstract

In this paper, a closed-loop model of job-shop FMS is obtained after considering the constraints of pallets number allowed to exchange in the load/unload station. The system can be described as a deterministic linear model when minimax algebra, actually (max,+), is used to express the relatonship between processing variables.For a linear state space model of job-shop production line, properties of controllability and observability are natural to be studied, such as their definitions, physical meanings and mathematical criteria.
