Abstract

Abstract Insecticide treatments were applied to 8 inch high alfalfa near Kimberly, ID, on 6 Aug ’85. Plots were 24 ft × 24 ft, with 4 replications arranged in a randomized complete block design. Sprays were applied with a CO2 back-pack sprayer at 25 psi delvering 50 gal water/acre. Aphid counts were made with a 15-inch diam sweep net taking 5 (90°) sweeps per plot.
