Abstract

The article provides an overview of the methods of quantitative analysis of an additive. The specifics occurring when determining the additive using the most common chromatographic methods are discussed. The advantage of the near-infrared (NIR) technique is shown, which offers selectivity, rapidity, low labor intensity, high sensitivity and feasibility of being used in the automated monitoring systems.
