Abstract

Abstract Potatoes were planted 15 May at the Northern Colorado Research Center, Greeley, CO. Soil type was a sandy clay loam, 1.1% organic matter and a pH of 7.8. Plot size was 25 row-ft (30-inch row spacing), randomized in a complete block design with 4 replications. Insecticides were banded below the seed piece at planting. Insect counts were made 9 Jul by counting insects on 20 leaves/plot.
