Abstract
Abstract Plots were located in a commercial field southwest of Mosca, Colo. Plantings were single rows and were in flowering and milk stages during the period of the trial. Plot design was a single row, bordered by untreated rows, 100 ft long, arranged in a randomized complete block design with 4 replicates. Treatments were applied 12 Aug by a CO2 compressed-air sprayer delivering 31 gal water/acre. Plots were evaluated 17 Aug by taking 20 sweeps/plot using a standard sweep net.
