Abstract

The processing of workpieces with a hardness of 65 HRC by foreign and domestic cutters is considered. It is established that processing is possible with the right choice of tool, its material and geometry, and cutting mode parameters. The fulfillment of these conditions allows you to control the effectiveness of processing by the period of tool life.
