Abstract

Abstract Late Flat Dutch' cabbage was transplanted Jun 9 to 36-in row with a 30-inch in-row spacing at the Rosemount Agricultural Experiment Station, Dakota Co., Minnesota. Three separate trials were conducted. Plot size was 25 row-ft in the first and 2nd trials, 30 row-ft in the 3rd trial. Plots were arranged in a randomized complete block design with 3 replications and border rows separated all plots to minimize effects of drift. Spray applications were made Aug 18, Sep 8, and Sep 22 using a C02 compressed air sprayer delivering 75 gal/acre at 25 psi. Plots were counted Aug 21, Sep 11, and Sep 24 by examining 6-8 heads in a plot.
