Abstract

Abstract Experiments were conducted in an established Concord grape vineyard infested with Erythroneuracomes (Say). Plots consisted of 5 vines in a row replicated 3 times in a randomized block design. Sprays were applied on Aug 6 using an Ortho garden sprayer operated off a high pressure hose of a Myers 6I256ET2 hydraulic vineyard sprayer. Operating pressure was 100 psi. Sprays were applied to runoff resulting in approximately 200 gal spray per acre. The equivalent of 0.5 pt Triton AG-98 per 100 gal was used with each treatment. Treatments were evaluated by counting the number of leafhopper nymphs on each of 10 injured leaves selected randomly per plot. Data were transformed to x + 0.5 and treated by analysis of variance and Duncan’s modified (Bayesian) least significant difference test.
