Abstract

Abstract Kryocide was evaluated on oak leaves for the control of third instar gypsy moth larvae at the University of New Hampshire. Orthene was used as a standard. The chemicals were applied on June 4. The treatments were rated 1, 4, 5 and 7 days after application. Leaves were dipped into the appropriate solutions and fed to larvae in pint paper containers. Freshly dipped leaves were added after 4 days. Treatments were replicated 3 times. Each replicate represented 5 containers with 5 larvae per container for a total of 75 larvae per treatment.
