Abstract

Abstract Kryocide was evaluated on cherry leaves for the control of third instar Eastern tent caterpillars at the University of New Hampshire. Orthene was used as a standard. The chemicals were applied on May 11. The treatments were rated 1 day, 2 days, 3 days and 4 days after application. Leaves were dipped into the appropriate solutions and fed to larvae in pint paper containers. Freshly dipped leaves were added after 2 days. Treatments were replicated 3 times. Each replicate represented 5-pt containers, 5 larvae per container, for a total 75 larvae per treatment.
