Abstract

Abstract Bagworm control was evaluated on 2-3 ft high California incense cedars. Treatments were made on 23 Jul and were replicated 12 times in a randomized complete block design. The plants were sprayed until runoff with a Hardi RY-15 backpack sprayer at 6 psi. The temperature and wind velocity was 93°F and 0-5 mph, respectively. Mortality was determined by examining 2 larvae from each replication at 2, 7, and 14 days after treatment. The larval cases were approximately 1.5 in long.
