Abstract

The present report on the cerebral type of adiposogenital syndrome concerns 3 children, all members of the same family, whom circumstances enabled us to observe. Our observations have been carried out under trying conditions, since the family in question are showmen, living in caravans. Our work would not have been possible without the cooperation of several colleagues, such as Drs. Villasante, Torres Gost, Vega, Cortes, Oliva and Canbin y Amor. One of us had the opportunity of seeing the oldest of the children when he was only 9 months old. It was intended at that time topublish a report on the case, since the child's exceptional fatness already presented certain features of monstrosity. As a result of the Spanish Civil War, however, the data were lost and publication became impossible. Luckily the dossier has now been reconstituted and completed and reports on the other 2 cases added. REPORT OF CASES
