Abstract
To investigate the influence of the profile design of the Yin and Yang rotor on the performance of the twin-screw compressor such as outlet flow, exhaust pressure and turbulence intensity. In this paper, the Yin and Yang rotor profile optimization is carried out based on a type of twin-screw compressor, and the optimization profile and the original profile are numerically simulated, and the performance curves of the two groups of profile parameters are obtained. The results show that the optimized profile has better performance parameters under the same flow condition, that is, it is more stable in operation and has better vibration and noise index in operation.
