Abstract
The development of science and the high technical level of present-day production make new and greater demands as regards the mathematics training of secondary school graduates. The chief aim today is to raise the level of the general mathematics education of the pupils and to achieve a conscious mastery of the knowledge. At the same time, the material and means by which this aim are attained are also important.
