Abstract

Abstract This article is an proposition to the use of contemporary CAD (Computer Aided Design) solutions for industrial infrastructure design, and to showing the many benefits of their practical use, avoiding many mistakes during the investment process, thereby increasing the quality of the creating products while reducing the costs associated with their production. The paper proposes a method of inventory of the current state and methods of spatial layout analysis of planned investment using smart databases to configure the individual manufacture slots. Presented is method of material flow analysis in the virtual model of the production line, tools for line analysis with particular focus on collision identification, job scheduling and parametric analysis of the planned installations.
