Abstract

Based on the peripheral refractive theory, this study designed a contact lens which can change the peripheral refraction of the retina, and established a retinal image system that can analysis the refractive state of the eyeball. The Monte-Carlo ray trace modeling was used to analyze the retinal images under different refractive conditions. The calculation of the power vector of refractive state was optimized for judging the corrective effect. The purpose of this study is to control the development of myopia for suppress the change of axis oculi when the eyeball supported in relative peripheral myopia or emmetropia by using contact lens. The results show that the model of peripheral refractive lenses with fourth-order spherical aberration constructed in this study can be used to control myopia and can achieve excellent corrective effect.
