Abstract

To increase the load capacity of planetary roller screw mechanisms (PRSM) while maintaining the overall dimensions, it is proposed to reduce the thread profile angle of the threaded parts of the mechanism. The influence of the profile angle of the threads of the PRVM parts on the nonuniformity of load distribution between the roller threads from the kick moment is studied. A method for balancing the kick moment and a design scheme are developed. The dependence of the non-uniformity coefficient on the profile angle of the threads of the PRVM parts is obtained.
