Abstract

Abstract Contact-ingestion efficacy was tested by placing parly larval instars (laboratory colony generation 11) individually on clean chrysanthemum leaves and spraying with treatment solutions. After air drying, leaves with larvae were placed in plastic creamer cups with moist filter paper and covered with plastic lids. Residue efficacy was tested by placing leaves dipped in treatment solutions and air dried in plastic cups and adding individual larvae preconditioned on chrysanthemum leaves. Mortality was assessed at 24, 48, and 96 h posttreatment. All treatments were replicated 4 times with 10 cups/replicate.
