Consumer surplus and producer surplus in fuzzy sense

Abstract

In economics, we extend the concept of consumer surplus of demand function and producer surplus of supply function to cover the fuzzy sense. Here we deal with the following four sets of types of demand and supply functions. 1. (i) Both demand and supply functions are linear. 2. (ii) Both demand and supply functions are quadratic. 3. (iii) Demand function is quadratic and supply function is linear. 4. (iv) Demand function is linear and supply function is quadratic.
