Abstract

Abstract This paper deals with two problems on construction of repeated measurements designs involving t treatments. In the first problem, construction algorithms have been given for construction of second-order strongly balanced, uniform repeated measurements designs when the number of treatments is an odd prime or a power of 2. In the second, balanced uniform repeated measurements designs have been constructed when there is only one experimental unit and the whole sequence of observations can be sliced into blocks of k distinct elements each. Construction algorithm is given when t(t−1) divides p, and k divides p for odd t while k divides t or t−1 for even t, p being the number of periods. In both the constructions, the method used is the method of differences.
