In this paper, construction of a Geophysical Testing Site on the campus of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand, is described. Construction works, field measurements, and results of some forward and inverse geophysical analyses are presented. In the first stage, the natural subsoil of the site was surveyed. After that, a number of existing buried facilities in the AIT campus were investigated, including water concrete pipe, water steel pipe, and communication cable line and concrete pavement. Then, new objects are constructed and tested, including steel drums and tank. Development of a complete geophysical site would require a lot of works in successive phases, and this study can be seen just as an initial effort Permalink: https://doi.org/10.1190/segj082006-001.56FiguresReferencesRelatedDetailsCited ByConstructing a geophysical test site for a coastal community's research and education activitiesMohamed Ahmed, Ryan Turner, Michael Haley, Samantha Shyrigh, Dionel Colmenero, and Tejaswini Penchala1 March 2021 | The Leading Edge, Vol. 40, No. 3 Proceedings of the 8th SEGJ International Symposium, Kyoto, Japan, 26-28 November 2006ISBN (print):978-4-938493-09-7ISSN (online):2159-6832Copyright: 2006 Pages: publication data© 2006 Published in electronic format with permission by the Society of Exploration Geophysicists of JapanPublisher:Society of Exploration Geophysicists HistoryPublished: 08 Nov 2012 CITATION INFORMATION P.
