Constructing ultra-stable and high-performance zinc-ion batteries through Mn doped vanadium oxide nanobelt cathode

Abstract

In this study, analysis of density functional theory calculations shows that the Mn2+ doping between VO6 layers functions as a “structural pillar,” and Mn2+ in the layer can boost the conductivity of VO2·0.2H2O and hold high specific capacity.
