Abstract

In this paper, we consider a new approach dealing with the constrained state regulation problem for the continuous-time singular systems. The basic idea is to transform the original problem into a regular reduced order one that is much easier to solve. The application of the positive invariance concept leads to a suitable regulator that eliminates all impulsive modes and keeps the states of system in the polyhedron defined by the specified constraints while transferring them asymptotically to the equilibrium point.
