Abstract
Nowadays, knowledge is one of the most valuable resources of the strategic organisational outlook which has a direct influence on organisational performance. Augmentation of knowledge leads to enhance the performance and decrease the risks and after that, the degree of safety could be increased. To this end, in this research the impact of critical success factors (CSF) of knowledge management (KM) on safety management (SM) is considered through using inferential statistics and multivariable analysis. For this reason, Isfahan car industry has been selected as the case of research and questionnaire has been used to assess these factors. Then the relationship between CSFs of KM and SM has been studied and given that CSFs of KM and SM indicators have different priorities, Friedman test was conducted to evaluate the priorities. Postulating CSFs of KM and SM analysis have been done by using PCA approach and critical success factors with the maximum of variance have been determined. In order to perform the statistical analysis SAS 9.2 software was used.
