Abstract

A.W. is the Ruth Teske Professor in surgical oncology in the Department of Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He has been on the faculty of the Medical College of Wisconsin for the past 35 years. He has served as the General Surgery Residency Program Director in the Department of Surgery and Interim Chief of General Surgery. Most recently, he served as Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs & Diversity and the Interim Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida, MD degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine, and general surgery residency training at the University of Maryland Hospitals, Baltimore, Maryland.
