Abstract

This paper is focus on one subject not very well considered up to now: the oil excedentary production in the Upper Guadalquivir valley at early imperial roman times economy. The romanisation of iberian society is shown in the adaptation of vegetable gardens production to dry lands. The reason of this change is based on the intention to introduce in the provincial market.
