Abstract
Macrostomia is a rare disease condition characterized by enlargement of the mouth at the oral commissure. Macrostomia is a form of facial cleft and can be associated with other congenital abnormalities or syndromes. In the present case, a 1.8 kg, late preterm male baby was delivered by emergency cesarean section. A unilateral macrostomia with a cleft palate was present. An abnormal right ear with a deformed ear lobule was present and the left ear was normal. In this case, surgery is the treatment of choice. Early diagnosis of this disease condition will help in the effective management of such cases.
