Abstract

Changes in the presentation of children with congenital abnormalities of the urinary tract have occurred in recent times. Major advances in ultrasound imaging and routine antenatal screening allow the prenatal diagnosis of congenital abnormalities. The postnatal management of these babies, along with the progress made in the management of other common congenital abnormalities of the lower genitourinary tract, is reviewed.
